Our vision for the local community
PCVSC's innovative business model is designed to have a positive impact on the local community.
- Emergency Animal Care: Support local animal shelters by providing emergency services to 100 animals in our first year.
- Service and Working Dog Care: Offer treatment to service and working dogs from approximately 20 organizations.
- Education and Training: Annually train 30 students, 10 interns, and 2 residents in specialty veterinary medicine.
- Research and Publication: Publish between 1 and 3 peer-reviewed journal articles each year to contribute to the advancement of veterinary science.
- Employee Benefits: Enable employees from non-profit organizations to qualify for student loan forgiveness after 10 years of service.
Our Promise
We will offer specialized veterinary care to underserved communities in Southern California where such high-quality services are currently unavailable. By providing gold standard care at an affordable price, as well nurturing the professional and support staff in a safe and supportive environment, PCVSC will change the trajectory of veterinary specialty medicine.
